Full-Time HR Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a permanent full-time HR Administrator, to commence as soon as possible.

The Role

This role will report directly to the Head of People & Culture, and your day-to-day activities will consist of supporting the School by assisting with responding and triaging general Human Resources (HR) queries, providing administrative support to the employee life cycle, and various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with People & Culture Business Partners (P&C BP) to provide administrative assistance in responding to general HR queries.
  • Managing the HR mailbox and ensuring timely response to enquiries and providing appropriate HR service and support.
  • In conjunction with the P&C BPs, manage the administrative recruitment processes and procedures. Including providing recruitment support to stakeholders such as screening resumes, coordination and scheduling of interviews, interview questions and reference checks.
  • Utilise HRIS systems (Aurion, Synergetic) for accurate data entry and coordination of employee life cycle stages.
  • Escalate any HR matters as needed, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and respect.
  • Collaborate with the P&C team to maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance matters.
  • Proactively maintain up-to-date and organised electronic employee records.
  • Uphold a high level of service excellence when interacting with employees and stakeholders.

While the primary responsibilities of the position are articulated, you may be directed to perform other duties by the Head of People & Culture. It is expected that the incumbent will engage with the School community and participate fully in a range of events and activities.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years Human Resources administrative experience, or other relevant administration experience.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills with an understanding of the delivery of timely and accurate advice.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise competing priorities.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as the ability to exercise independence and judgement where required.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and respond positively when resolving issues.
  • Champion the organisation vision and values through example setting, professional behaviour and high standards of work.
