The purpose of the Accountant role is to maintain, analyze and present the accounting information in a timely and accurate manner. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day Financial Accounting activities for the Acumed Iberica and Acumed of Germany legal entities, providing direct support to the Financial Controller, ensuring compliance and integrity.
Role typically requires at least 5 years of experience.
Advanced English – written and spoken is required.
- Responsible of Accounts Payable
- Banking responsibilities: payment preparation and reconciliation.
- Fixed Assets booking and control.
- Monthly Accrual preparations.
- GL accounts Monthly reconciliations.
- Travel expenses verification from an accounting and company compliance point of view.
- Tax Forms submission ensuring compliance with the local Tax authority requirements.
- SG&A monthly expenses control.
- Support month-end close processes, ensuring the completeness of accounting records.
- Monthly payroll validation and control.
- External audit support on the Annual Audit requirements.
- Flagging and notification/escalation of unusual and/or high transactions.
- Ad-hoc reporting generation.
- Liaise with external German Accountants.
- Provide to the external accounts all transactions to be booked on a monthly basis (invoices, stock variances, etc.).
- Monitor daily cash position and manage Bank account.
- Trial Balance Submission for corporate consolidation.
- Supervise Monthly Financials Statements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Responsible for the Monthly Reporting to corporate.
