Overview:

We are looking for an Eligibility Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Eligibility Assistant you will provide efficient administrative support to our Eligibility Team. Our Eligibility Team is responsible for initial liability determinations for newly lodged Work Cover claims.
This role may interest you if you are studying and/or qualified in Insurance, Administration, Business, Allied Heath, Psychology, Law, Social Work (or similar disciplines). We offer learning and career pathways, and provide ongoing training. We invest in our people through succession planning and have a number of mentoring and training programs available.

Responsibilities:

You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
  • Gather information as required based on the direction of the Eligibility Officers and Eligibility Entitlement Specialist
  • Arrange Independent Medical Assessments and Investigations and complete all documentation required
  • Contact workers and employers as directed around gathering of information
  • Complete letters and communication to workers and employers at the direction of the Eligibility Officers and Specialists

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in Administration
  • A passion to service customers
  • High attention to detail
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Great communications skills
  • PC literacy and Microsoft Office experience
