About the Role:

To make sure all Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders are created and sent on time with the right level of accuracy and attention in order for the factories and business to continue to run

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with respective Line Leaders to order the materials as per specification, quality parameters, cost effective and within required period.
  • Develop, present, and implement after approval by senior management, a tool that will help the Procurement team and the business to follow up on all our requirements Assist with the purchase of CAPEX goods and services in a manner that delivers increased value to the business, through improved cost, delivery, and/or performance.
  • Be aware of all forecast for raw materials / packaging and maintain relevant inventory levels
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the Purchase function, to ensure efficient execution of transactions while maintaining adequate levels of control, review, and approval.
  • Manage the services required by Purchase Staff. (Clerical services and logistical services).
  • Report purchasing efficiencies & plan for continual improvement.
  • Measure & report customer service levels and take corrective actions for all non-conformances product deviations, quality complaints etc.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out accordance to SOP

Job Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or acceptable equivalent experience, with major focus in a business or technical discipline, preferably purchasing, supply, and/or materials management
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a Purchase function, in similar industries, such as FMCG, industrial manufacturing.
  • Good proficiency in using ERP such as SAP or Oracle
  • Good excel commands
  • Fluent English, another language is a plus
