Job Purpose
The Senior Associate will oversee all types of leasing transactions recorded in SAP/Yardi or other front-end systems. The role includes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient receivables management, contributing to the organization’s financial health and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Reporting
Oversee recording of leasing and retail transactions in SAP/Yardi or similar systems.
Ensure accurate billing and collection of lease and retail receivables.
Manage and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Handle customer clearing, receivable aging, and collaborate with the property management team to resolve daily issues.
Process security deposit refunds, posting necessary entries, and coordinate with Accounts Payable.
Manage receipts and bank reconciliation processes, including handling current and post-dated cheques.
Handle all bank-related matters to ensure smooth transaction processes.
System Management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly preferred.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in a similar role within asset management or real estate.
Extensive experience with Yardi, leasing management software, and ERP systems (particularly leasing modules).
In-depth knowledge of the leasing/retail management industry and associated financial practices.
