Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic interior design organization, bringing financial expertise and precision to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Generate comprehensive financial reports for management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Accounting Operations
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and financial records
Process invoices and maintain financial documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Record Keeping
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records
Implement and improve accounting procedures
Ensure accurate data entry and financial tracking
Assist with internal and external audit preparations
Financial Analysis
Analyze financial performance and trends
Identify cost-saving opportunities
Provide insights to support business decision-making
Monitor financial health and performance indicators
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting certifications preferred
Professional Experience:
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in UAE
Proven track record in accounting or assistant accounting roles
Experience in interior design or similar creative industries a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with accounting software:
Sage
Tally
QuickBooks
Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling capabilities
